Entertaining Guests
DESCRIZIONE
This engaging and fun course aims at building confidence in social and professional engagements, enhance conversational strategies, and provide a solid foundation in cultural know-how related to entertaining. Through listening and role play activities, students learn how to order a meal at a restaurant as well as discuss menu options, food and wine and improve their English-speaking skills for social situations.
MINIMUM LEVEL REQUIRED: B1 – INTERMEDIATE
OBIETTIVO DEL CORSO
In this course students will learn to:
- Familiarise with the language used to entertain guests in a business context.
- Show visitors round the company.
- Order food at a restaurant.
- Speak about food and wine and learn the related vocabulary.
- Make small talk.
